WOT A LOT OF SOUL !!!! , WOT A LOT OF A PERFORMER!!! JUST THINK .....
THE LIGHTS GO DOWN , THE MUSIC STARTS , THE SPOTLIGHT COMES ON ........THE ANTICIPATION IS AMAZING!!!
STEVIE COMES OUT WITH A GUITAR SHAPED ORGAN HANGING FROM HIS NECK , AND THEN PROCEEDS TO WALK TO THE FRONT OF THE STAGE ..STILL PLAYING GETTING FUNKIER AND FUNKIER............HALF WAY THOUGH THE NUMBER HE GOES ON FLOOR AND GOES INTO A JIMI HENDRIX STYLE PERFORMANCE OF WRITHING AROUND ON FLOOR (STILL PLAYING) LEANING BACK AS FAR AS HE CAN GO .............

HE THEN CONTINUES FOR A FULL 2HOURS 30 MINS FOR A SET THAN LEAVES YOU ALL IN AWE OF THIS MAN'S SKILL AND PERFORMANCE ....

THE SET IS SLICK HIS BACKING SINGERS. DANCE THROUGH THE WHOLE LOT AND THE BAND ARE A FULL INTEGRAL PART OF THE SET .......WITH THE STANDARD OF MUSICIANSHIP NOT SEEN OR HEARD ALOT IN SOME CONCERTS ....(NOT JUST BEHIND HIM ...PLAYING ALONG ....THEY COME FROM ALL NATIONALITIES AND BRING THE WHOLE CONCERT TOGETHER ......AS STEVIE IS AN ENVOY FOR WORLD PEACE HE SHOWS US THAT MUSIC DOES BRING EVERYONE TOGETHER ...REGARDLESS OF AGE, CREED OR COLOUR.......) THE WHOLE CONCERT WAS A JOY AND EXCITING .........
WE SAT IN BLOCK A - ROW G , WHICH WAS TO THE RIGHT OF THE STAGE WITH A BRILLIANT VIEW ....... ........
.ANYONE GOING TO MEN NEED TO KNOW THAT THERE IS A LIFT WHICH TAKES YOU TO THE TOP IF YOU ARE UNFIRM ON YOUR LEGS ETC.........
THIS MAN AND ALL OF HIS BAND AND SINGERS ARE SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN ( BELIEVE ME I HAVE SEEN SOME REALLY GOOD CONCERTS ACROSS THE WORLD!!!!!)
FOR A MAN OF SIXTY HE CAN STILL DO IT ....THE AUDIENCE WERE IN A FRENZY ALL NIGHT .........AND VERY CONSIDERATE WHEN THE SLOW NUMBERS CAME ON AND WE SAT DOWN TO LISTEN PROPERLY ( I DID IT TO GET A REST BECAUSE FROM THE FIRST NUMBER YOU WERE ON YOUR FEET DANCING GOING THROUGH THE EXCELLENT CHOICE OF NEWER STUFF AND THE GOLEN OLDIES
THE SCREENS AT THE SIDE OF THE STAGE WERE HUGE SO THAT EVERYONE AT THE BACK GOT A GOOD FEEL OF THE CONCERT.....THE BACKGROUND CHANGED THROUGHOUT THE CONCERT SETTING THE MOOD ALL THROUGH THE AND SHOWING THE TROUBLES, AND LIFE OF STEVIE WITH ETC

THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING WAS THAT THERE WAS NO PROGRAMME ...........WHICH WAS DISSAPOINTING

I have been an ardent fan of Stevie Wonders since I was seven years old and saw him in concert in 1980 in Boston (USA). He has not lost one bit of his energy , enthusiasm, and entertaining genius.
This was a night that I will never forget!
Can we entice him to come back to the UK next year?

WHEN STEVIE JUST WALKED ON STAGE - UNANNOUNCED - IT WAS SPINE TINGLING! THE PLACE JUST ERUPTED WITH EXCITEMENT, WAS AWESOME. HE SOUNDS JUST AS GOOD AS EVER AND DID 2 HOURS STRAIGHT WITHOUT A BREAK. SUCH AN AMAZING TALENT - WOULD DEFO GO TO SEE HIM AGAIN.

Words cannot express the joy I felt on Tuesday night and ever since I saw Stevie at the MEN. I will remember that night for the rest of my life. The quality of the performance of the man himself and the stellar collection of musicians in the band was just fantastic. Seats were spectacular - great viewing. Cant wait for him to return to England for another tour.

I really can’t wait to see him live again. He was absolutely fabulous when I saw him here in London performing at the O2. Stevie Wonder creates an intimacy with his songs and connects with his fans. I remember singing along with the crowd to all his hits … Uptight, Keep On Running, Cherie Amour and Just Called To Say I Love You!!! Stevie was absolutely fab. SImply one of the best concerts I’ve been to. So great Stevie Wonder is not one of these legendary performers, who are too cool to play the songs the fans want to hear.
Stevie Wonder at Hyde Park is surely going to be extra special. I secretly hope Paul McCartney is already in town for his Hyde Park concert the next day and guests on stage with Stevie Wonder for Ebony and Ivory!!!!!!!

Saw stevie wonder at the O2 last year, he didn't dissapoint showcasing all his biggest hits. Seats we got were amazing! Definitely worth paying that little bit extra.
Can't wait for Stevie Wonders upcoming summer shows, could be one of the last chances to see Stevie live here in the UK! See you there!

I was one of the lucky ones able to see Stevie at the O2 in October 2008. A true legend and a great show, cant wait to go to Hyde Park. If it is one tenth of the gg O2 was then it will be truly fantastic
